The Game Changer is an interactive playspace tailored for the Consolidate Gaming Festival, which typically caters to older children and adults engaged in traditional gaming, e-sports, and cosplay. Acknowledging the limited engagement opportunities for children under five at the festival, the Game Changer was developed to fill this gap. Game Changer features no pre-set rules. Instead, participants are encouraged to interact with the loose parts to create, innovate, and redefine the rules of play. These parts can be played in a myriad of ways, encouraging visitors to use their creativity and experience the space in an embodied way.
Furthermore, all tools and materials are repurposed from furniture industry waste obtained from the Remida-Creative recycling station, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
