Our Kitchen Tales is a journey into the world of food through the eyes of children. Together with 25 curious young minds from Skillingaryd, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway, we explored how food shapes culture, language, and imagination. Through tasting, touching, smelling, foraging, cooking, and creating both edible and playful non-edible recipes, the children discovered the magic hidden in everyday ingredients.
The collective documentation of these explorations came together in a cookbook, celebrating a hybrid food culture that values both people and the planet.

This project invites everyone—children, parents, and food lovers—to approach cooking as a space for curiosity, creativity, and joy, where food becomes a medium for storytelling, learning, and connection.
